Your New Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks. You need to have experience within credit control/AR and purchase ledger, and must have worked within a finance team for 2-3 years. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing invoices and expense claimsManaging the debtors and credit control procedureLiaising with internal departments such as project managers and sales teamMake bank payments, ensuring up to date recordsReconciling bank statementsAssisting with month-end and year-end financial reportingMaintaining accurate financial records and updating cash forecast spreadsheetData entryMonth-end journal postingProviding cover for other members of the team when necessarySupporting the preparation of budgets and forecastsLiaising with suppliers and clients to resolve any financial queries
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (desirable but not essential)An Accounting Qualification (eg AAT), desirable but not essential.Previous experience in an accounting or finance roleStrong numerical and analytical skillsProficiency in CRM or ERP financial softwareExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
What You Will Be Offered
