Hours Per Week – 37.5

Somerset Bridge Group are looking for an Account Analyst to join our Pricing department to support the Internal Account Manager in the management of internal accounts. You will help to ensure the delivery of customer and commercial outcomes in line with our underwriting strategy using data analysis to support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create reports, analyse and review account KPIs to ensure product performance is providing good outcomes for the business and our customers
• Work closely with the pricing teams to understand the commercial and customer impact of price changes
• Assist in the development and tracking of business plans
• Conduct high level analysis concerning book mix, average premium movements, channel mix and other performance metrics
• Analyse macroeconomic trends, external factors and claims inflation trends

Required Skills/Experience:

• Good knowledge of the insurance market and competitive dynamics
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data across multiple different sources
• Good communication skills
• Quantitative background (math, finance, statistics)
• Familiarity with finance and budgeting processes
• Familiarity with operational (claims, sales) processes is an advantage
• Experience in the use of programming language (SAS, SQL or Snowflake)
• Strong knowledge of Excel
