JOB TITLE: Business Intelligence Analyst

SALARY: £45,000

LOCATION: Nottingham

SETTING: Office based with two days per week working from home

Do you have Business Intelligence or Analytics experience? Are you super-advanced using Power BI? An exciting opportunity has arisen at XMA for a Business Intelligence Analyst in the Nottingham office. In this role you will contribute to the Data & Intelligence function in the production of reports and the testing of new analytical models.

Job Specification: Business Intelligence Analyst

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• • Requirements Gathering
  • Data modelling
  • Creating of reports and dashboards
  • Scheduling refreshes and subscriptions
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Initial triage and response
  • Championing self-service reporting and training users
  • Production of reports not covered by self-service
  • Ad hoc analytical requirements providing analysis, insights and visualisation of data as demanded by relevant stakeholder.

• Supporting other Business Intelligence Developers with peer reviews and testing of new analytical models
• Taking initiative to improve reporting techniques and accuracy

Requirements: Business Intelligence Analyst

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a Business Intelligence or analytical role. Other requirements include:

• Power BI Including
  • Power Query – Using multiple sources
  • DAX
  • Reports
  • Dashboards
• SSRS/Report Builder/Power BI Paginated Reports
• SQL querying (SnowSQL, T-SQL)
• Strong Excel (including pivot tables, formulae, Power Query)
• Experience of producing reports to deadline
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience of working in a team
• Ability to work with large volumes of data
