Role – CAD Operator roleLocation – Diss, NorfolkWorking hours – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per weekSalary – £28,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on experienceCapacity of role – Permanent positionOur client is a reputable and well established business is currently recruiting for a CAD operator to join their team.Applicants will need to be proficient will CAD systems and will have previous working experience working with 2D and 3D packages.Main duties will include – • Compiling 2D CAD CAM drawings based on customers drawings, or from existing 2D and 3D CAD data• Nesting of parts for Laser cutting and manufacturing• Prepare necessary machine programs and drawings for manufacturing (Laser cutting / folding) in house• Maintain stock and material records • Support workshop/sales staff with technical informationEssential Skills / Experience• Previous CAD drawing/draughting experience (preferably with knowledge of either Solidworks or AutoCAD)• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, with knowledge of dimensions and tolerances• Previous experience within engineering / manufacturing role• Excellent attention to detail • Good telephone manner and happy to liaise with customers via phone and/or emailPlease apply for this role with a CV to Gemma at or call 820409 for additional informationSkills:2D, 3D CAD, Solidworks, Engineering, Design,
