This is an opportunity for an ambitious actuary/analyst with experience of working in the claims area, to step into a position of great responsibility. It is a multi-disciplinary role covering a number of core activities.

Key duties (including, but not limited to):

• Design of claims portfolio management dashboards to create a data driven approach to claims management
• Improve processes around due diligence and the storage/use of output
• Assist claims handlers with production of portfolio plans during due diligence and onboarding phases
• Deep dives on claims portfolios to gain insights from a portfolio perspective
• Assist with data quality program and tracking and resolution of issues including maintaining relationships with TPAs
• Assist reserving actuaries translate the effect of claims initiatives into reserving implications
• Assist group head of data with onboarding of new portfolios by carrying out mapping of data into their systems
• Assist with completion of data warehouse by helping the group head of data to map old portfolios into the data warehouse
• Preferable student or qualified Actuary but not essential
• Analytical skills with claims domain knowledge
• Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical colleagues
