Commercial Finance Manager 50,000 – 60,000 + bonus Tameside (2 days in office)

Axon Moore have partnered with a long standing client based in Tameside, a household brand who are looking for a commercially astute qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with various business units (operations, sales, marketing) to provide commercial finance support, ensuring financial viability of strategic initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into business performance
• Lead the annual business planning and budgeting process, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop multi-year financial plans and update forecasts as necessary, incorporating business drivers and market conditions.
• Build and maintain integration P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow models
• Lead detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, using data to drive business decisions
• Oversee scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to provide insights into potential outcomes and their financial implications
• Manage, mentor, and develop the Junior Commercial Finance Analyst, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth

Ideal candidate:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified accountant is essential
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
