The Commercial Finance Manager will drive improvements in reporting and analysis to support strategic decision making within Go To Market (Sales and Marketing) teams. They will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify key drivers of growth for the business and model impact of initiatives to drive improvements and own planning and rolling forecasting for GTM within Pigment planning tool.

The role – what you’ll do:

• Own GTM rolling forecast/ budget within Pigment planning tool and support wider FP&A team
• Work cross functionally to improve reporting to Sales and Marketing leaders
• Prepare board materials on monthly basis
• Own KPI production and reporting to investors
• Help drive focus on efficiency across go to market team
• Work with Finance Analyst to oversee month end close process
• Business Partner Marketing and Sales teams to ensure costs are correctly allocated
• Support FP&A team with materials for private equity investors

Stakeholders you will collaborate with

Internal stakeholders

• FP&A Team, BI, Financial Control Team, Business Operations and GTM leadership teams (regional GM’s and heads of marketing)

External stakeholders

• Board/ Investors for reporting

Goals & Objectives

• Successful transition to Pigment planning tool for all GTM forecasting and planning
• Increased accuracy of cost allocation driving production of more accurate regional P&L’s and efficiency metrics

Skills Requirements

Essentials

• Pigment planning tool experience or similar planning tool experience would be considered
• Commercial finance business partnering experience within SaaS company (Go to Market experience preferred)
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Strong presentational skills

Desirables

• Experience of working within PE backed business
• Experience of month end process
• SQL experience

Knowledge

Essentials

• SaaS KPI Metrics
• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience

Desirables

• Knowledge of Fintech market
