This is a leading Northern Irish utilities organisation based outside Belfast City centre.

Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Contacting customers to plan jobs, liaising closely with construction partners and outside agencies, and dealing with any enquiries and complaints
• Responsible for processing utility requests from third parties
• Assisting with Engineering Administration in processing and updating relevant company asset systems, including filing job designs/packs and general administration.
• Handle various incoming and outbound telephone calls effectively, providing an efficient and effective service to existing and potential customers.
• Assist in the administration and planning of asset maintenance work
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in line with company values and standard operating procedures
• Respond effectively to reported emergencies, ensuring accurate collection, and recording of customer data and the reported incident
• Highly proficient in data inputting and assisting with administration tasks
• The ability to interpret and translate technical information to initiate the appropriate responses and data capture requirements.
• General administrative tasks

What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) to include English and Maths at Grade C or above
• At least one year’s experience working within a customer service environment and dealing with telephone enquiries
• At least one year’s administrative experience
• 1 years’ experience working within a contact centre dealing with a high volume of telephone enquiries (desirable)
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative without supervision
• Excellent communication skills, including a polite & friendly telephone manner
