eCARE (EPR) Development Senior Analyst

Band: 7 £43,742 – £50,056 Per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.

We currently have an opening for an eCARE (EPR) Senior Development Analyst, focusing on the development of the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system called eCARE (Oracle Cerner Millennium).
The successful post holder will have experience working in a healthcare environment, including the support of staff and the development of Oracle Cerner solutions; they will be aspiring to be at the level of an Oracle Cerner ‘Integration Architect’ or have equivalent experience.

Main duties of the job
The aim of this role is to manage the technical framework used by the eCARE and Back Office teams on an on-going basis under the management of eCARE Development Manager.
Responsible for the provision of expert level IT and eCARE technical and development services to the Trust. Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to, support of the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (eCARE) System and its optimisation.
Ensure that a consistent and quality eCARE technical support service is provided to all users, this may require the identification and resolution of complex problems with the support of eCARE Development Manager.
Contribute towards delivering new functionality and optimising the existing functionality; this may require working with the IT Back Office or end users to identify and resolve complex problems.
