Front-End Developer

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands / (Hybrid – office 2 days a week)

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the retail & e-commerce industry, is now seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join their dynamic team.

As Front-End Developer this is a crucial role in enhancing the digital infrastructure of this innovative brand. You will be helping shape the digital roadmap for the company’s web & mobile platforms, as well as creating high-performance software that enhances user experience & supports the company’s growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop client-side & server-side applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions.
• Develop APIs, write clean code & implementing proof of concepts to guide technical strategy.
• Troubleshoot, debug, & upgrade software to ensure responsiveness & efficiency.
• Work with wider team (data scientists & analysts) to optimise software performance.
• Ensure compliance with security & privacy standards.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer within the D2C space.
• Experience with web-based applications & familiarity with Shopify Plus & related APIs.
• Expertise in data tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
• Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, CI/CD, & UI prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of future tech stack, such as React, Node, TypeScript & Vercel would be a plus.
