Marie Curie seeks an experienced Head of Digital Products to fill a key vacancy in our tight-knit, agile Digital team. We are looking for someone who is evangelical about and drenched in the experience of working in Digital Product-led environments, who is focused on achieving user-led, evidenced outcomes – and with experience compassionately leading teams.
Reporting into the Associate Director of Digital and managing a crack team of Product, SEO, UX, Project Management and Analytics staff, the Head of Digital Products will develop a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the organisation and its audiences, particularly those who could be impacted by technology. They will uphold the charity’s Digital Vision and Design Principles, embedding an evidence-based, audience-led approach across the charity and the Technology department.
A background in Digital Marketing would be a strong benefit as we offer consultancy to our Marketing and Fundraising colleagues and support delivery of their campaigns. It is absolutely critical that you have experience managing big projects, in particular delivering websites and understanding the related SEO and UX challenges.
You must be able to speak with authority and to bring people with you as we support the entire organisation to understand what it means to be truly product led. You need to have worked in an Agile environment and be able to form a tight partnership with our Development and Delivery team leader to ensure that the work of the Product team is properly prioritised and has well laid out requirements and acceptance criteria.
