Job Description

As head of Investor Relations you will be responsible for;

• Developing and delivering a best in class IR capability with clear processes and calendar
• Articulating and evolving a consistent, and well understood investment proposition
• Advising and working with the Executive team to deliver best in class engagement with shareholders
• Leading planning for our results presentations, road shows and investor days – engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on key messaging for investors
• Managing investor and market expectation through proactive communication and engagement
• Owning competitor and peer group marketing and share price analysis
• Enhancing investor base, working with Brokers to target and develop relationships with new investors
• Building long term trusted relationships with shareholders and buy and sell side analysts, ensuring Board and Exco are up to date with investor’s views
• Managing investor and market expectation through proactive communication and engagement
• Working closely with Brokers, banks and PR on corporate activities and marketing
• Overseeing and collaborating to produce the Annual Report
• Together with ESG team, maintaining and developing ESG communication strategy

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have;

• Previous PLC experience or direct IR leadership experience in Investment Banking, corporate broking, buy or sell side analysis or other IR of financial PR experience
• Thorough understanding of equity capital markets and London Stock Exchange disclosure rules.
• Knowledge of international payments markets and or treasury operations would be advantageous
• Strong experience presenting to financial services audience and investors
• Excellent communications skills.
• Highly numerate and experienced with financial models and analysis
