HR data Analyst
Main Job Purpose
To take the domain expert role for HR working with IT and particularly the Data Programme Manager and team to develop proof of concept on people data as part of our client’s Digital Strategy.
To contribute towards evidence-based strategic and operational planning and decision-making through the provision of high quality HR related Business Intelligence and management information.
Using robust data management principles, the post holder will be required to resolve complex problems where there is a mass of information and often diverse, partial and conflicting data, with a range of potential options available.
Experience of Business Intelligence dash-boarding and reporting tools (eg Power BI, Tableau,Qlik)”
. Significant experience in and knowledge of HR data management and reporting techniques including Business Intelligence, effective data visualisation and Management Information provision
. Self-motivated with proven organisation skills, an ability to manage own workload and work flexibly to prioritise tasks, often working under pressure to meet competing demands
. Excellent Proven IT and Excel skills (Pivot tables, Data and Matrix functions, complex formulae), including MS Office suite
. Understanding/experience of relational databases and SQL
. Experience of complying with standards/methodologies and good practice
. Relevant work experience, demonstrating in depth knowledge of HR data and analytic
