My client is hiring an IT, Cyber, Third Party Management Risk AVP. This role will ensure the Bank maintains adequate control environment for Cyber and IT and associated vendors and to support and review and to challenge the process to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, rules and regulatory expectations for the management of Cyber. IT and data Risk

London based role, but global presence.

Seeking an IT, Cyber, Third Party Management Risk AVP to report into Operational Risk function.

Description

This role will support the 2LOD operational risk management framework and informing of the overall operational risk profile in regards to IT , Cyber and InfoSec

• Providing execution and support in helping the Bank keep ahead of emerging IT risks.

  • Support implementation and maintenance of an effective Cyber, IT and Data Risk management framework per

    .

  • Provide assistance and oversight of the Third Party Management process related to external and intragroup IT vendors and services and support the 2LoD Head of TPRM accordingly, together with other relevant stakeholders
  • Support the formulation of and independent 2LoD view of the IT&IS third party risk profile and the overall IT&IS risk profile
  • Provide support and challenge to the first line stakeholders in their compliance with the TPRM framework and operational risk management framework
  • Assist the business lines in bridging and consolidating oversight and monitoring across Cyber and TPM related processes which complies with the Bank’s TPRM framework and policies

Profile

For the IT, Cyber, Third Party Management Risk AVP

Candidates with experience in Risk Management and Supplier Risk Management, but also with that experience to have covered IT or Cyber processes is required.

Candidates who have operated in 1LOD in IT and Cyber also strong fit for the role.

An understanding of various IT and Cyber certifications is needed – but you don’t need to hold those quals/certifications.

A background in working in an UK Banking or FS regulated entity is preferred .
