As a senior-level Manufacturing Director you will lead a team of both operators and managers to meet chip delivery, reduce cycle time, improve scrap and develop ways to improve productivity. You will closely collaborate with R&D, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering and Planning to ensure training is kept up to date to meet the needs of the factory. You will be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing department from daily operations meeting to reports to senior company executives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team operators and supervisors to meet daily output goals.
• Reduce all human related scrap and ensure adequate training is provided to continually improve line performance.
• Collaborate with process/ equipment engineering to improve yield and in line detection as well as develop new methods to reduce cost and improve productivity.
• Support and lead 5S/Kaizen improvements.
• Be the key point of contact for all manufacturing related activity. Lead/coordinate all on-going efforts to improve cycle time, reduce human related scrap and work with R&D to bring new manufacturing products on board with 1st pass success.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a semiconductor background
• 4-5 years management experience
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with wafer fab operations systems such as manufacturing execution systems (MES), process & quality control, and change management.
• Strong collaboration & communication skills are essential for success in this position.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a large team in a 24×7 manufacturing environment is a must.
