MI Claims Analyst: MI, Power BI, Claims, Data

MI Analyst required to support the claims function for a leading Specialist Insurer. The successful MI Analyst will work closely with the business to help transform & support reporting processes and draw insight from claims analysis.

Taking ownership of various reporting tasks, you will act as a conduit between Claims/Finance and Data Analytics functions. This role requires a good understanding of the Lloyd’s market & how it functions with experience supporting MI solutions for Claims/finance/actuarial functions using Power BI.

This role is ideal for a business facing MI Analyst, who has a good grasp on Lloyd’s business processes and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Claims, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure accurate reporting solutions
• Recommend improvements and changes to existing processes
• Act as Data representative for Claims
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for Claims/Finance function
• Managing and supporting tasks and identifying any data quality issues

Requirements:

• London Market Insurance experience is required
• Hands-on data reporting experience using Power BI
• Good understanding of Claims and wider business functions
• Strong analytical skills with keen eye for details
• Ability to communicate reporting solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
