We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Operative (Pilot Plant) for an initial 6 month contract to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. You will play a crucial role in operating the manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment across the entire pilot manufacturing process. This position requires occasional travel to different sites, ensuring seamless technology transfer across our global operations.
Initial Contract of 6 months. Opportunity to extend or go permanent if successful.
Responsibilities
Operate manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment across entire pilot manufacturing process
To manually & automatically assemble products and intermediates
Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements
Contemporaneous completion of quality documentation
Able to follow detailed work instructions and protocols precisely Work with R&D teams to Identify improvements
Ensure the efficient running of Assembly equipment during manufacture
Inventory management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant environment.
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using analytical instruments and data analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Flexibility to travel to different sites as required.
