Procurement Analyst Full Time

Reporting to the Lead Procurement Business Partner, this position is a great opportunity to shape how the organisation measures procurement performance through financial and non-financial metrics.Key Responsibilities:

• Evolution and maintenance of Procurement intranet and site pages ensure it remains up to date.
• Ownership of the Procurement inbox, responding to stakeholder queries & requests ensuring actions are delivered timely manner as required.
• Own the team Business Integration Plan and agree planned activities with team members to support building internal relationships.
• Developing the teams spend analytics capabilities using different data sources to identify spend trends and significant spend changes on suppliers
• Create, own and maintain our Procurement dashboard to demonstrate how the team delivers value (including but not limited to cost savings/avoidance, customer satisfaction, process efficiency).
• Ownership and SME for the Contracts Management tool used to store all of MO’s 3rd party contracts.
• Supporting team and stakeholders with Procurement Policy compliance.
• Supporting team with development of Procurement templates and processes.
• Support with project activities/projects as needed.

About you

• You are passionate about data and love analysing data from a variety of sources with experience on PowerBI or similar
• You enjoy using different procurement technologies, tools and processes and continually looking for ways to improve.
• You’ll be highly organised with the ability to meet tight timescales.
• You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently.
• You are confident at presenting and communication information to others.
• Happy to work in a matrix management environment.

ExperienceAs a minimum for this role, you will need to have experience of:

• Developing Procurement dashboards to measure team performance.
• Advanced MS Excel (knowledge of functions, pivot tables, v/h look ups and macros).
• Experience in a highly analytical role within a; procurement, commercial or business environment.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.

About the team The Procurement team was set up in October 2023 and sits within the Business Risk reporting line as part of the wider Finance Division.Previously there was no centralised team and only an IT Procurement team reporting into IT, so the remit has expanded which is positive.
