Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of our organization and ensuring that all procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective. Your role will involve managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the supply chain to meet the needs of our business.
Duties
– Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve operational efficiency
– Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
– Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
– Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
– Manage supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations
– Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement
Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
– Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics
– Proficient in using procurement software systems (e.g., Oracle EBS)
– Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
