Having developed a range of cloud-based software products, we are continuing to invest in expanding our range considerably over the coming years. This will require a dedicated owner at a strategic level to oversee the existing, new, and future product offering.

Key responsibilities and activities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end product function within the Specialty EMR team of CorEvitas, including SaaS and bespoke technology solutions
• Ownership of the overall product strategy, evolving it based on customer insights, market research, industry trends and the wider company strategic focus
• Identify new product opportunities, prepare, and present business cases for investment
• Responsible for the SaaS P&L, including setting and reporting on revenue, sales and capex targets and working closely with finance partners on quarterly forecasting and annual planning
• Responsible for the pricing strategy and implementation for all product offerings
• Responsible for managing client contract and proposal templates, working with legal counsel to adapt according to data regulatory guidelines and/or based on client needs
• Establish and manage customer insights framework to capture customer and market learnings, identify opportunities and risks, drive the prioritization of development for both on new and existing products and strengthen sales language and materials
• Developing and maintaining a product roadmap and vision for all products. Maintain product artefacts such as value proposition, use cases, personas, proof points etc.
• Customer success plan and tactics to improve user acquisition and engagement, including onboarding, training, contextual help, support. Establish and maintain KPIs and SOP for the Vantage helpdesk and other elements of the service level agreement such as “Ask the Analyst”
• Inspiring and guiding a product team of Developers, Designers and Product Managers to create and enhance fantastic products, encourage agile ways of working and best-practice
• Define and execute on go-to-market plans for new developments or products
• Lead commercial teams including Product Sales, Account Management and Customer Success and establishing metrics and goals not limited to retention rate, upgrades, and new sales
• Manage and maintain a library of customer facing resources from creds decks to fact sheets, case studies, testimonials, videos and more.
• Manage sales and product training and maintain a product certification program
• Act as a product and data specialist when required to support existing and prospective client discussions
• Lead on client RFPs and scoping or evaluation of bespoke technology solution requests
• Liaise with marketing to identify promotional needs and support/assess the delivery of any planned campaigns
• Manage and own relationships with key data providers and partner companies that underpin our product offerings, including applications for data renewal. Identify and establish new data partnerships, including commercial negotiation, to strengthen our product offerings.
• Able to navigate and influence regulatory bodies, government data providers and public bodies as well as private organisations
• Influence the business technology strategy, playing a key role as a member of the technology board
• Chair the Product Board, ensuring we have a clear and agreed direction of travel whilst providing the board with appropriate levels of assurance
• Ensure regulatory Information Governance requirements are adhered to for all products and service offerings

Experience:

• Degree or equivalent, ideally in Healthcare or Life Sciences
• Experience of defining and delivering a product strategy for data-based software and analytical products
• Owning product development throughout the entire lifecycle, particularly requirements, design and launch phases
• Experience in launching and managing both SaaS licensed based solution, as well as non-licensable consultancy-based product solutions. Working with agile development and engineering teams with a good understanding of the technical and data concepts they deal with
• Experience of managing technically diverse staff across all areas of a product team
• Experience of developing and managing SaaS based licensed products
• Extensive experience interacting with customers and driving market analysis and sizing activities to underpin and support product design ideas and initiatives
• Experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industries would be extremely advantageous
