Job Title: Product Owner – Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE)Contract: £550 – £650 p/d – Outside IR35

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the development and management of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and applications.

The Product Owner is crucial for driving the virtual engineering strategy within the business, encompassing Product Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and more.

The Product Owner will have a strong technical background in CAE, with proven working experience as a Product Owner in the Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Manufacturing or Energy and Utilities industry

Key Responsibilities of the Product Owner:

• Outside IR35
• Lead the management and development of CAE applications and tools.
• Industry experience in Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Manufacturing or Energy and Utilities industry
• Develop and maintain the architecture, technology roadmap, and vision for CAE tools (Pre, Solve and Post)
• Strong understanding of HPC technical architecture, including CAE applications, storage, cloud, and virtualization – High Performance Computing
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and validation of CAE applications and tools.
• Manage technical expertise and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and strategic CAE vendors
• Oversee risk management, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity.
• Drive innovation in digital products to solve business problems – Managing the transition of digital products from development to BAU.
• Ability to frame and solve complex business problems – Ensuring product delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints
• Oversee the alignment of supply and demand for CAE products.
• Experience with agile methodologies an advantage
• Hybrid working – will consider remote for the perfect candidate
