The AWS Global Real Estate Team is looking for a talented EMEA Real Estate Developer based London. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute on strategies to expand our Data Center portfolio and related infrastructure. You will help develop where we go, negotiate the business contracts and deliver the infrastructure needed to provide best in market Data Center projects.

Have the ability to negotiate multi-million dollar contracts for real estate and infrastructure transactions.
Have the ability to think strategically about business, market, and technical challenges with the skill to build and convey compelling value strategy plans.
In this role you will:
Negotiate real estate development transactions, from beginning to end including strategy development, financial analysis, business term negotiation and support full legal negotiation.
Serve as a key member of the Site Acquisitions team in developing growth strategies for specific markets.
Execute on the strategic plan while interacting with internal stakeholders (e.g. product teams, energy, fiber, design, construction, legal, tax, etc.).
Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and developing solutions that meet the design and business objectives.
Have involvement in the full construction process to deliver all aspects of a project to include building, data center specific power, and all other site utilities.
Prepare and present transaction summaries to the senior management team regarding progress, financial approvals and overall deal costs / benefits.
Manage of multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze and organize communications around contractual gap analysis in colocation contracts
Manage remediation transactions: validate stakeholder inputs, engage with vendors with guidance from Technical Business Developers, prepare business cases for leader approval, and drive contract execution with legal partners
Track and manage individual gap remediation projects to approval and handover to operational teams for implementation
Manage data center agreements with third party suppliers, including supporting contract transactions; generating and processing service orders; vendor communications; obtaining internal financial, technical, and legal approvals.
Manage a global portfolio of commercial agreements for critical data center infrastructure.
Lead development and implementation of process improvements to increase process automation and scalability in order to support a rapidly growing business.
Gather and own maintenance of various data to ensure high data integrity. These data will often be from disparate, ambiguous, or difficult sources.
Develop metrics and analyze trends for key takeaways to achieve business objectives and reduce operating costs.
Support continual process improvement initiatives with accurate and meaningful data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
– 7+ years of professional or military experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
– Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
– Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
