Research Analyst Roles, £20-£25 per hour (umbrella rate) Various locations – Minimum 6-month contract

Are you a Research Specialist or Statistician looking for an opportunity to develop your skills whilst working in a huge data organisation.

We have exciting new vacancies working in a regulatory environment with a prestigious public sector client for a minimum of 6 months.

What will you be doing;

• Conducting research and analysis, investigating issues, reviewing and reporting the findings
• Engaging with data providers and statistical producer teams to understand how statistics are produced
• Providing briefings relating to regulatory projects and presenting the findings of regulatory work through written reports and presentations

I would love to speak to candidates working in a research, analytical or policy development role who have technical skills and experience including;

• Ability to think critically and analyse evidence from a range of sources to form judgements and draw conclusions, including in the presence of only partial or conflicting evidence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex issues affecting statistics so others can understand.
• Excellent written and presentation skills and can and produce comprehensive and clearly written briefings, ideally with experience of having been published in academic journals or equivalent.

These roles can be based in Hampshire, South Wales, North East England or Midlothian
