Page Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst on behalf of a highly successful retail business based in Bolton.

The purpose of this role is to produce and take ownership of the UK retail P&L, key metrics & commentary. The role will be working closely with the wider commercial team & stakeholders.

Description

Senior Commercial Analyst duties include:

• Own the production, development and distribution of the UK Retail P&L, key metrics and commentary.
• Work closely with the wider Commercial team to understand key drivers of revenue and profitability.
• Provide insightful reporting to senior stakeholders across all metrics as required.
• Drive improvement throughout the P&L, challenging key metrics and identify areas of opportunity within our offering.
• Build forecasting models to demonstrate our current performance and expected future value.
• Use third party data to analyse market share and areas of over/under performance.
• Educate and support the business in pursuit of all relevant sales and profitability metrics.
• Add full commercial control to all decisions in your area, considering the P&L contribution impact of your actions.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be part qualified with ACA / ACCA / CIMA or QBE
• Have a proven track record in a similar role
• Have excellent MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel
• Be confident in challenging decisions and making recommendations
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
