AsaLead Data Scientist,you willwork alongsideour world classproduct and engineering teamstolead research and development of differentiating AI/ML solutions that will enhance our product.

Ourplatform:

Phrasee is a SaaS platform that usesproprietary NLG and Deep Learningto generate and optimize language for use in marketing communications.

Phrasee is built with Open API’s designed to make it easy for third party technology platforms such as Email Service Provides, to integrate our technology to their workflow.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to theChiefScientist, you will be working in an agile team,to research, design and build market leading AI/ML solutions that make a material impact to our business and customer experience.

Look to proactively identify and solve business challenges with advanced data science and analytics tools.

Make significant contributions to Phrasee’s core Intellectual Property.

Coordinate with product and engineering to translate R&D prototypes into production-ready systems.

Develop workflows and processes to streamline Phrasee’s research and development lifecycles.

You’re a Data Scientist who:

Loves numerical data, so naturally keeps on top of all the latest academic and industry developments in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.

Has a product mindset so that all research is based on solving real customer problems.

Has the drive to come in and make an impact, by taking ownership of this new rolein a rapidly growing start-up environment.

Can adapt quickly, and calmly, to changing priorities.

You have a range of technical skills including:

Hold a Masters or PhD (or equivalent practical experience) in a highly numerical discipline such asmaths,physics, statistics or computer science.

5+yearsof working in a commercial R&D setting.

Have a strong working knowledge of fundamental statistics.

Experience with Python – pandas,jupyterand the broader scientific python ecosystem.

Ability to apply abstract mathematical concepts to noisy real-world data.

Communicate effectively with people across the business who have a variety of backgrounds.

Bonus points for knowledge ofComputational linguistics,Machine LearningDevOpsandData visualization.
