We are looking for a Senior/Principal Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Risk and Remediation Team in London, to manage and oversee small to medium scale projects from commencement to completion and close out.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll get to work on a variety of projects with a team of highly experienced and collaborative colleagues. Key responsibilities:
Site Appraisals, desk-based assessments, analysis and interpretative reporting
Intrusive site investigations including monitoring
Data assessment and evaluation including Generic Quantitative Risk Assessment (DQRA would be beneficial)
Providing technical expertise to clients, designers and other RPS offices relating to land contamination risk assessment, remediation design and implementation
Writing and review of interpretative reports ready for approval by senior staff
Supporting more senior staff and potentially leading on work delivery
Developing core areas of expertise and actively engaging with professional organisations
Developing client relationships through effective and robust project management and strong communication
Who we’re looking for:
Ideally, you’ll be chartered with a relevant professional organisation (or working towards chartered status) and have solid experience in a geo-environmental role applying contaminated land, risk assessment and liability principles, within a consultancy context. You will need to have an understanding of geotechnical assessments and reporting.
Good financial and project management skills are a must, as are sound influencing and communication skills that enable you to build, maintain and consolidate working relationships with colleagues, clients and external bodies.
