Our Digital & Innovation team leverages user research and insights to design, test, and build solutions across Housing, Smart Cities, and Report It. Our multi-disciplinary teams, including colleagues from Digital, Data, and Technology, use agile principles to deliver value quickly.

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Report It product line. This role is crucial in delivering our ambitious roadmap, rolling out new reporting features such as noise, vehicles, streets, and bicycles. You will work closely with services across the council to integrate the product with existing internal processes. You will be line managed by the Lead Product Manager and collaborate with other product managers, delivery managers, software developers, data analysts, researchers, and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Product Teams: Extensive experience working in agile product teams.
• Product Management: Proven product management experience at a senior level within a product team.
• Programme Management: Experience working on complex, fast-paced programmes with defined outputs and timelines.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Decision Making: Ability to quickly and confidently make product management decisions and communicate them effectively within the team.
• Problem Solving: A “can do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

• AI Technology: Experience working on AI technology.
• Government Experience: Experience in local government or central government.

Further Information:

• Team Collaboration: Work within the Report It product line in a dedicated product team.
• Hybrid Working: At least one day a week in the City Hall office (near Victoria).
• Community of Practice: Collaborate with other product managers across our three product teams in the Report It product line, as well as other members of your multi-disciplinary team.
