A market leading organisation within marine engineering is searching for a software engineer to join their small team and develop technologies that improve the energy efficiency of marine vessels.

This role will see you working within a team of cloud, frontend and backend engineers who are focused on developing a scalable data platform that processes millions of incoming data points.

The product is built using C# and is an event-driven Azure hosted data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices components in C#
• Work with cloud architects, snr software engineers, data scientists and naval architects to develop the data platform

Key experience

• Strong working knowledge of C#
  • Any experience of Python is ideal, but NOT essential
• React or JavaScript
• Experience with either SQL Alchemy, Django or Entity Framework
• Azure Cloud/Azure DevOps

The salary for this role is up to circa £65k + benefits. They operate a hybrid working model from either their Southampton or London offices.
