Role- Commercial Finance Business Partner – c£70k + Bonus + Benefits

• HYBRID ROLE – Work 2 days per week at home and 3 days in Office
• PERMANENT ROLE – REPORTS TO CFO

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provision of Commercial insight and reporting to the Sales team and wider business
• Take the lead on sales and margin financial planning
• Support the Sales team on the evaluation of new business, pricing strategies and other growth opportunities
• Improving our promotional effectiveness through insight and control
• Financial control and governance of customer retro rebates (a significant P&L and value driver)
• Interpretation and communication of product cost movements ensuring inflation is managed
• Continued development of IT tools (including further development and expansion of the business BI tool Qlik )
• Leading and supporting on other company projects as necessary.
• Management and Development of the Commercial Finance Analyst

Skills and Experience

• Effective communicator with the ability to present concise and clear conclusions
• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (an exceptional Part-Qualified accountant would be considered)
• Strong modelling skills
• Able to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to influence and build strong internal relationships at all levels.
