Business Analyst – CRM & Digital Transformation
Location: Northampton (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £50,000
We are working with a purpose-led non-profit organisation that is embarking on an exciting period of digital transformation and is looking to appoint an experienced Business Analyst to support a major CRM programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of people, process, and technology. You’ll play a key role in helping shape improved user journeys across fundraising, grants, and service delivery functions, supporting the continued evolution of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform.
Working closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners, you’ll help translate business challenges into effective solutions improving processes, enhancing systems, and enabling teams to deliver greater impact.
The role:
. Partner with stakeholders across fundraising, operations, and service teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement
. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to map processes, challenge existing approaches, and define future ways of working
. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
. Support the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
. Work closely with technology teams and third-party suppliers to deliver effective solutions
. Support CRM enhancements, integrations, and wider digital transformation initiatives
. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business and user expectations
. Champion continuous improvement across supporter, customer, and grant-related journeys
. Help ensure technology solutions align with organisational priorities and user needs
Required Skills & Experience
. Previous experience as a Business Analyst within a charity, non-profit, housing association, or customer-focused environment
. Strong experience working with CRM platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
. Proven ability to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and produce clear process documentation
. Experience supporting CRM implementations, enhancements, migrations, or optimisation projects
. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
. Experience working with suppliers, technical teams, and delivery partners
. Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
