Reed Public Sector is seeking a detail-oriented and inquisitive Data Validation Analyst to support a local authority in validating housing stock condition data. This remote role involves comparing Excel-based datasets to existing records to determine the most accurate source of truth. Your work will directly impact housing asset management decisions and ensure compliance with key standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate housing stock condition data held in Excel
• Compare datasets to identify discrepancies and determine accuracy
• Understand the implications of data accuracy on housing asset management
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent data standards
• Maintain meticulous records of validation outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong Excel skills, including use of basic formulas and data manipulation
• Understanding of data formats and validation techniques
• Experience with asset management systems (QL experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of building construction, compliance, and regulations
• Familiarity with HHSRS and Decent Homes standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a curious mindset
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Desirable:

• Previous experience in housing or property management within a local authority
• Understanding of housing legislation and compliance frameworks
