Finance Analyst Full Time

Pure are working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology provider to recruit for a commercially minded Finance Analyst. This role will offer hybrid working where you will have the option of working 2 days a week in London or Peterborough.

This is a pivotal role within the group finance team, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for multiple divisions.
You’ll work on designing financial models, analysing performance metrics, identifying cost efficiencies, and supporting business decisions with actionable insights.
The main responsibilities of the role are as follows –

• Develop and enhance financial models to support forecasting and planning
• Lead elements of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles
• Establish, report on, and improve KPI metrics
• Deliver insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains
• Support business and investment case modelling
• Provide commercial analysis and assist with board reporting
• Support the automation of financial reporting processes
• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver decision-support analysis
• Work with operational finance teams (Billing, AP/AR, Sales Ops) to improve metrics
• Partner closely with management accountants to ensure accurate and insightful reporting

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Excel and analytics, with a strong eye for detail and a drive to improve and automate reporting processes. You will also have experience of building and maintaining financial models and dashboards.
