Operations Analyst – Billing & Trade Operations

Rate: up to £500 a day Inside IR35

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team supporting billing and trade operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Global One and SBL billing, and a strong understanding of trade life cycle processes in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing processes, including SBL billing and associated reconciliations.

• Support trade operations and ensure accurate trade capture, allocation, and settlement across multiple asset classes.

• Maintain and reconcile records within Global One and other internal systems to ensure data accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing, trade allocations, and settlements.

• Liaise with Front Office, Middle Office, finance, and counterparties to resolve operational issues.

• Prepare reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and ad-hoc reporting requirements.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Billing, or Middle Office roles within financial services.

• Hands-on experience with Global One and SBL billing is required.

• Strong understanding of trade life cycle, reconciliations, and post-trade operations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to automation/reporting tools (eg, VBA, Power BI) is a plus.
